Foreigners skilled as medical professionals, information technology experts and experienced builders are more likely than anyone else to be invited to apply for permanent residency in Australia. Skilled workers in these fields are in such short supply that the Australia government is giving visa and residency applicants with these expertise preference.
The Australian Federal Government pointed to 17 occupations that will be given priority in a bid to help Australia’s economy recover from the spiraling negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Besides jobs that are in critical demand right now there is a growing demand for skilled workers in more career fields – but, according to the LinkedIn Jobs on the Rise in 2021 report, many more jobs will be in huge demand soon.
