Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP) are aiming at welcoming 105 500 candidates, 23 000 more than the Express Entry target. PNPs are crucial in meeting the labour needs of each province and dispersing the skills to alleviate labour market pressures nationally. Provincial programs are expanding to overtake Express Entry applications.
