Securing a work permit for Canada can be challenging. The Intra-Company Transfer (ICT) program was designed to assist businesses that need temporary or specialised skills. Companies need to have a parent company or subsidiary branch with a Canadian organization to apply for the ICT program. The company in Canada employing foreigner need to be operational rather than just a physical location. Business must continue for the Canadian company and the Multi-National company.
