Every country has their own rules and regulations for immigration, some are confusing to us but most of them are pretty clear. We build up the idea of a new life without load-shedding, crime and higher wages in our heads but then suddenly we get slapped with the costs and we need to re-evaluate our desire to immigrate. Desire is not hard to manage, however, an emotional decision cannot be made when considering immigrating, one needs to be calculated and weigh up the risks involved.
Are you healthy, honest and not guilty?
As we journey together through the headache of documents for a better life, we need to think logically about what risks we need to face. You will be moving to a country to better yourself but also to benefit their economy, in place you cannot have:
- A criminal record
- Chronic medical conditions
- Fraudulent qualifications or documents of any kind
These three factors are the only risks that will make your application for Australia, Canada or any country really, unsuccessful. If you are caught lying in your application, you will be rejected and banned.
Will I find work?
Most of our clients feel like their biggest risk is work. Depending on the pathway you qualify for, the majority of the time we deal with skilled migration. Australia and Canada are looking for labour, working class and skills. As a developed country with innovative development, why would they invite someone to live in their country, reap all the benefits and there is no work available? Jobs are available, the only problem is… the VISA.
As you venture further into your immigration journey, a major risk which can be cleared up soon is the company you are submitting through or your third parties. Immigration usually happens in light of desperation for a better life. DO NOT let that take over your entirety. You need to make sure the people you chose to work with have the correct registrations. Ideally work with a company from your home country, to be protected through consumer protection acts.
