Applying for a Study Permit for South Africa
South Africa is a popular destination for foreign students. The country boasts top schools, the weather is perfect, and the exchange rate makes for affordable student living. Foreign students can apply for a Student Visa if enrolled full-time in a registered school. Student visa holders are allowed to work part time and can renew this visa as long as they are still studying.
This is a temporary residency visa and does not lead to Permanent Residency.
How long will it take to Process and what do I need?
The processing time is 30 to 40 working days.
Things to look out for!
The Student visa is intended for studies longer than 3 months. The holder of a student visa enrolled in a higher institution may conduct work for a period not to exceed 20 hours per week. If your child will be attending school in SA, contact New World Immigration for advice on obtaining the correct visa. Check more out at the Education Department of South Africa
